A PROPOSAL FOR RIVEROPOLIS AT THAMESFEST, LONDON
Touch Temple River would be a spectacular site-specific artwork near the tower Bridge in London inviting all age groups to create and interact at the water’s edge during Thamesfest, England’s largest annual public gathering.

The colorful ziggurat, festooned with plants and artwork will set off the the surrounding architecture to become a signature visual element of the festival.
Existing plateaus descend like stairs - ideal for falling water.

POTTERS FIELD SITE PROPOSAL FOR THAMESFEST


This wide concrete plateau provides a stable surface for “long board” art table.

Both standing and seated participants will chat and make small boats, trees, temples at the “long board” table.

The River will begin with waterfalls cascading down the sides of a ziggurat reminiscent of The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Each side of the ziggurat will be designated for the display of text, fanciful trees and “micro-temples” in the spirit of: Hopes, Worries, GratItudes and Intentions.
